The flagship model of "NEW BALANCE" running shoes, the first model in the 1000 series, the "M1300" is considered to be the pinnacle of the brand's running shoes. With its iconic grey color, authentic design, and comfortable fit, this is a representative model of the brand that has remained popular since its launch in 1985.
This work commemorates the 35th anniversary of the M1300 series, and is an anniversary collaboration with Levi's, the iconic American denim brand that was also popular in the AIR JORDAN series. The denim used for the upper is selvedge denim from the White Oak factory of Cone Mills in the United States, which closed in 2017. The tabs on the sides are orange tabs, which were used in the denim line for young people that Levi's developed in the 60s and 70s and that fit the trend, setting them apart from the red tabs that were mainstream at the time, for the first time for a shoe brand. This premium model is a collaboration between two of America's leading brands.
