The Palermo, named after the place name "Palermo" in northwestern Sicily, Italy, is a classic model that represents the terrace style of the 1980s. It was released as one of Puma's special shoes that paid homage to the famous capital city of Europe, and became a staple model for the crowds gathering at soccer stadiums. Like the original, it features the Puma cat logo on the heel, gold signature tag, T-shaped construction on the toe, and classic gum sole. This version features a leather base with suede formstrips and overlays.
PUMA
In 1924, the Dassler brothers, Rudolf and Adolf, founded the "Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory" in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Later, in 1948, Walt Clyde Frazier, who founded Puma Shoe Fabric Rudolf Dassler and made a breakthrough in the basketball world, became famous off the court for his vibrant fashion.
When Frazier was given a custom suede model for his Puma, the design was revised and Frazier's nickname was added to the side of the shoe, and thus the Puma Clyde model was born.
Currently, the company manufactures and sells a wide range of products, from sports goods to shoes, sportswear, and fashion items. In recent years, the company has been proactively collaborating with high fashion brands.
