PUMA SUEDE was born as a training shoe in 1968. In the 1980s, it was loved by many famous artists and spread its name around the world as a must-have item in hip-hop culture and the skate scene. Even after more than 50 years, its unchanging style that continues to be loved by all generations continues to influence not only the sports scene but also the cultural scene such as fashion, music, and art. This collection is a reproduction of the "SUEDE" that was produced in the former Yugoslavia (1979-mid-1980). The "SUEDE 90681" released in 2018 has been further improved to achieve a silhouette closer to the original. In addition, the biggest feature is that it has been changed to a standard 7-hole and is made using a cement method in which the upper and sole are bonded with adhesive. The balance of the upper design has been corrected and the toe box has been successfully made smaller.
PUMA
In 1924, the Dassler brothers, Rudolf and Adolf, founded the "Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory" in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Later, in 1948, Walt Clyde Frazier, who founded Puma Shoe Fabric Rudolf Dassler and made a breakthrough in the basketball world, became famous off the court for his vibrant fashion.
When Frazier was given a custom suede model for his Puma, the design was revised and Frazier's nickname was added to the side of the shoe, and thus the Puma Clyde model was born.
Currently, the company manufactures and sells a wide range of products, from sports goods to shoes, sportswear, and fashion items. In recent years, the company has been proactively collaborating with high fashion brands.
